The number of registrations for the PPP-WC 2026 in Hanover has exceeded all expectations. Just five days after the registration portal opened, the 600 places available for participants have already been allocated. Anyone who was not among the first 600 registrations will now be placed on a waiting list and will not receive an invoice for the time being. However, there is hope that they will still be able to participate.
The LOC – the local organising committee for Hanover 2026 – has already begun to address this surprising rush and is currently looking for ways to allow more players to participate. It may be necessary to add another hall for the first two days, but this will not be as central as the three halls planned so far. We will provide updates here as soon as we have any news.
Players who have not yet registered should not panic and should not worry that they will not be able to participate. We recommend that they register anyway. They will then be able to move up the list if additional places become available. As the order of the waiting list is decisive here too, it is still advisable to register as soon as possible.
In any case, it is already clear that Hanover will host the largest PingPongParkinson event ever! The previous record of 324 participants, set in Lignano in 2025, will be more than doubled. There could be no better proof of the popularity of the PPP World Championships!
