The number of participants has now been increased to 1,000

At its meeting today, the organising committee responded to the unprecedented interest in the 2026 PPP World Cup in Hanover. After the originally planned 600 places were filled within five days, the committee had been searching for days for a solution that would allow even more people to participate. There is a fourth hall 250 metres away from the three existing halls and the youth hostel, which is normally used for hockey and tennis. This hall will now be used as well, providing around 30 additional tables in close proximity to the 80 tables in the three other halls. After recalculating the schedule with up to 110 tables, it was decided today to allow up to 1,000 registrations.

Immediately after this decision, all persons on the previous waiting list were added to the list of participants and have now received their invoices.

The old registration deadline of 15 August 2026 remains unchanged. However, it cannot be ruled out that the 1,000 places will be filled before then. Therefore, no one should wait too long to register! At present, there are no plans to reopen the waiting list once 1,000 registrations have been reached.
