On Monday, 25.09., there will be no competitions in Wels yet, but with the Opening Ceremony and the Players Party there will already be two other important events for all participants on the first day. The Players Party will start at 6 pm on Monday. After a short welcome by PPP Austria, there will be a delicacy buffet of mainly Austrian specialities, but also vegetarian dishes.
DJ Klaus will provide the background music at the beginning of the event, and he will also lead the evening’s programme musically and, if possible, be happy to fulfil music requests. As at all previous PingPongParkinson World Championships, there will again be an “Open Micro”, where everyone who wants to present something can contribute to the podium – be it a poem, a song, a speech or a group performance. Of course there will also be dancing at the Players Party – the exhibition hall offers enough space for all activities! Host PPP Austria is very much looking forward to a convivial evening with all participants!
For those without their own vehicle who cannot make the journey to the hotel on foot, the first shuttle bus will make the rounds to the contingent hotels (Ibis, Ploberger, Gösserbräu, Best Western) at 10 pm – a second round will take place immediately after the first round. Those who want to party longer will have to arrange their own rides.
