As the registration for the doubles and mixed pairs has not yet been completed, it is not yet clear how many doubles and mixed will compete in Wels. If all players would play doubles and all women would participate in the mixed competition, there would be a total of exactly 2,083 matches on the five competition days in Wels. The final number, however, will certainly be lower and close to 2,000.
In the singles, the number can already be given with a fair degree of certainty. On Tuesday in the preliminary round matches there will be exactly 700 matches on the 48 tables, on Thursday in the group matches of the main and consolation rounds 673 matches. On Wednesday, there will be around 300 games in the groups of four in the doubles and mixed preliminary rounds, and on Friday there will be around 250 games in the knockout rounds on the 24 tables. On the other hand, the number of matches on the final day on Saturday can be specified exactly: 90 matches, namely 36 singles, 36 doubles and 18 mixed.

Wenn alle Spieler Doppel spielen würden und alle Damen am Mixed-Wettbewerb teilnähmen, kämen an den fünf Wettkampftagen in Wels in Summe genau 2.083 Spiele zur Austragung. Die endgültige Zahl wird allerdings mit Sicherheit tiefer und in der Nähe von 2.000 liegen.
Im Einzel kann die Zahl bereits ziemlich sicher angegeben werden. Am Dienstag in den Vorrundenspielen werden es an den 48 Tischen genau 700 Spiele sein, am Donnerstag in den Gruppenspielen der Haupt- und Trostrunde 673 Spiele. Am Mittwoch werden es in den Vierergruppen der Doppel- und Mixed-Vorrunde um die 300 Spiele werden, und am Freitag werden in den KO-Runden um die 250 Spiele an den dann nur noch 24 Tischen über die Bühne gehen. Genau angegeben werden kann dagegen die Zahl der Spiele am Finaltag Samstag: 90 Spiele, und zwar 36 Einzel, 36 Doppel und 18 Mixed.
