Arrival by car
Via A1 coming from Vienna, then at the Haid junction take the A25 towards Wels, either via Exit 17 Wels-Nord through the city (risk of traffic jams) or at the Wels junction via another exit onto the A8, at Exit 11 Wels-West follow the signs to the exhibition grounds, but do not choose the north entrance, but continue to the east entrance!
Coming from Salzburg on the A1 at the Voralpenkreuz junction take the A8 north towards Wels, Exit 11 Wels-West, follow the signs to the exhibition grounds, but do not choose the north entrance, but continue to the east entrance!
By train
Coming from Vienna or Salzburg to Wels main station, some hotels are in the immediate vicinity, unfortunately there is no direct bus connection to the exhibition grounds, therefore we organise our own bus transfers during the tournament week.
Parking at the venue
There are large free parking spaces to the north-west of Exhibition Hall 1. These parking spaces can also be used by motorhomes, but they do not have water or electricity connections.
Fairground plan
Hall 1 = Entrance hall with information office, caterer’s kiosk, cloakrooms, trade fair restaurant and seminar room/rest room on the upper floor.
Hall 1 on the ground floor will also host the Opening Ceremony and Players Party on Monday.
Hall 6 = tournament hall with 48 tables for the preliminary rounds, grandstand, tournament management; access only via hall 1, not directly from outside
The showers are located east of the exhibition halls, here on the map on the lefthand edge, at the Wels Gymnastics Club. They will be signposted on site.
