Basic classes have been determined

All participants have been classified into one of three basic classes (1, 2, 3) based on their playing strength. The basic class also determines the order of the seedings for the individual competitions.

The basic class indicates the lowest tournament class in which a player can compete in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles competitions. Players can be placed in a higher class in one or more competitions, i.e. they can start in a higher class, but not in a lower one.

The list of all entries with their basis class has been published at this homepage here.

All players with basic class 2 or 3 should now check whether they want to play in singles in this basic class or compete in a higher class. They should then notify Competition Manager Hilmar Heinrichmeyer (hmeyer@ttvn.de) by Friday, 10 October 2025, in which higher class they want to play in singles. They will then be moved to the higher class for singles without their basic class changing. Those who wish to play singles in their basic class do not need to notify us. No changes will be made to the class division after 10 October.
